Punta Prima is a typical Spanish tourist resort located on the southern Costa Blanca within 30 minutes of two international airports, Murcia and Alicante. The beaches are some of the cleanest around and have been awarded blue flag status.
Once at the airport, you have several options for airport transfers to Punta Prima, including private shuttle buses, taxis, or car rental in Punta Prima.
Punta Prima has a Mediterranean climate with 320 days of sunshine per year. The beach has a beautiful promenade with shops and boutiques and bars and restaurants where you can enjoy your Menu del Dia.
Punta Prima is a ten minute drive just south of Torrevieja, and all its amenities, such as the shopping centre, Las Habaneras, Water Park, Pacha night club, casino, bowling alley, marina, submarine, boat trips and Playa Flamenca with its lovely beaches. For those with more energy you can reach Torrevieja on foot, a mere thirty minute stroll along the coast or the bus service that takes you there every hour.

Punta Prima also has a commercial center with an Eroski supermarket, Wok Buffet (Chinese) restaurant, Captain's Table restaurant (fish and chips, Sunday Roasts and breakfast), Amigos bar, Chinese restaurant, Greta Garbos restaurant is a Swedish restaurant that only' open in the evening, Subway. Timeless fashion with English clothing, Milar, Druni, The Card Place, Nautilus Plaza with American burgers and ice creams, Yu Chinese restaurant is quite chic, Murphy's Irish Pub and cafe and Emilio's Italian restaurant and take-away.
There are more restaurants to choose from on the N332 such as Rogues Carvery, Rogues fish bar, Puccini Italian, German, Ghandi Indian, two Chinese restaurants (including Dinastia) and several bars.
Activities and things to do in Punta Prima
Karting is a must when visiting Punta Prima with a visit to the Asturia Restaurant, a very large restaurant with English speaking staff. The food is of a very high quality, especially the many different paellas, with good value for money. Views of the Mediterranean Sea and a free parking space .
There are three golf courses in the area as well as water sports, fishing and sailing. A visit to the local market to buy your fruits and vegetables, shoes, bags and clothes can be done on Saturdays in Playa Flamenca.
